Well it had to happen in the end. Yes we are trying out the "Blog". This is just another way to help get the message of how important safety is to each and every one of us.
It does not matter if we are first responders or not, whether we wear a vest for a livng or not. First reponders are there for the public, to help, to serve and to care. They are all respected, trusted and valued for the difficult jobs they do.
One would find it difficult to imaging knocking down and injuring or even worse killing any one of them just because they could not be seen! The guilt, even if it inevitable, they moved back at just the wrong time etc.
We owe these brave people a debt, the debt of us, the public caring enough to slow down, move over, or even stop when asked.
As members of the public we can also ask our congressmen, our senators, why are these people not getting the funding to help them buy good vests when they need them most!
Maybe, just maybe this blog may help some first reponders out somewhere, somehow, with an exchange of ideas to add to the increasing call for greater safety for them.
So if you feel you can add your voice to the call, or maybe your safety vest helped save your life, please vist our blog, let everyone know about your thoughts and ideas, you may even have a photo or two to share or some scene where safety vests played a role.
In any case we would your experience, thoughts, ideas and input on our blog. Thanks for your time and consideration.
